VRS System

Format sets with a specially developed Volume Control System.

To control the volume of the packaging, we have a system that continuously sucks air out of the filling tube of your VFFS machine via a pump.

This volume control system (VRS) vents the filling tube through a bulkhead with cut-outs, known as the gill plate. After passing the filling from the weigher, a pneumatically operated, double-acting valve closes the filling tube from above. This also prevents naval from occurring.

VRS System

Unlike the usual overpressure due to the piston effect, conti-nuous pumping creates constant negative pressure in the space below the falling fill.

After passing through, the remaining air is extracted through the closing sealing jaws. The set suction speed and the opening of the control valve in the suction line determine the exact final volume of the filling to be packed.
